Technology is the backhand of a website i.e the coding belongs to a language. We mainly use:
1.Html/Css 2.PHP 3 .Net web developement 4.Web 2.0 5.JAVA/J2EE _____________________________________
HTML/CSS: HTML is HyperText Markup Language.
* HyperText is the method by which you move around on the web — by clicking on special text called hyperlinks which bring you to the next page. The fact that it is hyper just means it is not linear — i.e. you can go to any place on the Internet whenever you want by clicking on links — there is no set order to do things in. ________________________________________________
PHP:PHP, which stands for "Hypertext Preprocessor", is a server-side, HTML embedded scripting language used to create dynamic Web pages. Much of its syntax is borrowed from C, Java and Perl with some unique features thrown in. The goal of the language is to allow Web developers to write dynamically generated pages quickly. ________________________________________________
.NET:The .NET Framework is Microsoft's application development platform that enables developers to easily create Windows applications, web applications, and web services using a myriad of different programming languages, and without having to worry about low-level details like memory management and processor-specific instructions. ________________________________________________
Web 2.0:Web 2.0 is much more than just pasting a new user interface onto an old applica- tion. It’s a way of thinking, a new perspective on the entire business of software— from concept through delivery, from marketing through support. Web 2.0 thrives on network effects: databases that get richer the more people interact with them, applications that are smarter the more people use them, marketing that is driven by user stories and experiences, and applications that interact with each other to form a broader computing platform. ________________________________________________
JAVA/J2EE:Complexity, technology and economic feasibility are the major obstacles faced by the Java application development companies. Apart from the above mentioned problems there are other obstacles related to scalability, security, and robustness of a typical java applications.
